Registration is now OPEN for our 3rd Annual Infant Mental Health Capitol Day in Lansing!
Every year, our Infant Mental Health Capitol Day makes headlines—and this year, it’s calling for even bolder leadership that centers infant and early childhood mental health.
Powered by MI-AIMH, this event brings together Michigan families, providers from more than 100 family-focused organizations, and advocates to share lived experiences—whether that’s a parent navigating postpartum mental health, an educator seeing the power of strong early relationships, or a provider witnessing how reflective practice and early intervention change outcomes.
Why It Matters:
Infant and early childhood mental health is everyone’s business. It’s about the consistent, nurturing relationships that help babies and families thrive—relationships supported by home visitors, child care providers, early intervention specialists, pediatricians, mental health clinicians, and policymakers alike. When these systems work together, they form a protective web that promotes resilience, emotional well-being, and healthy development from pregnancy through the early years.
Join us at the Capitol to:
Bring your voice—whether you're a parent, provider, or community champion, your story matters.
Stand boldly for policies that strengthen families and the professionals who serve them.
Elevate shared solutions—every conversation with lawmakers raises the visibility of infant and early childhood mental health.
